「Tokyo International Education Conference」開催のお知らせ
日時：2016年8月9日（火）～11日（木）　場所：アオバ光が丘キャンパス（東京・練馬）

アオバジャパン・インターナショナルスクール（所在地：東京都練馬区、以下アオバ）は、2016年8月9日～11日に「Tokyo International Education Conference（東京インターナショナル・エデュケイション・カンファレンス）」をアオバ光が丘キャンパスにて実施します。本カンファレンスのテーマは「Global Leadership（グローバル・リーダーシップ）: Leading Positive Change in the Education World」です。本イベントには、ビジネス・ブレークスルー大学（東京都千代田区、以下ＢＢＴ大学）とSouthern Cross University（サザンクロス大学、オーストラリア、以下ＳＣＵ）も協力しています。

Aoba-Japan International School （Located in Nerima ward, Tokyo. "A-JIS"）will hold a conference, the "Tokyo International Education Conference", on Aug 9th to 11th 2016, at the A-JIS Hikarigaoka Campus. The theme of this conference, which realized in association with Business Breakthrough University　(Japan, BBTU) and Southern Cross University (Australia, SCU), is "Global Leadership: Leading Positive Change in the Education World".


「Global Leadership: Leading Positive Change in the Education World」をテーマとした本カンファレンスはその名の通り「世界の教育を良い方向にけん引する『グローバル・リーダーシップ』」について考察するもので、学校等、教育機関の現場の教職員にとって有益であると思われる研究を紹介します。日本では、既に政府によって一般的な学校への国際バカロレア（ＩＢ）導入が提言されるなど、教育の在り方が変わり始めています。2016年7月現在、ＩＢＤＰ，ＰＹＰの公式認定校であり、ＭＹＰの認定候補校となっているアオバは、日本の大きなテーマの１つとなっている教育改革にも貢献したいと考えており、本カンファレンスをはじめ、様々な取り組みを行って参ります。これからの教育について考える良い機会となりますので、皆様お誘いあわせの上ご来場ください。

なお、第一回目となる今回のカンファレンスは主に英語で行われますが、来年以降は多言語での実施を目指しており、毎年定期的に開催する予定です。
