Aoba-Japan International School awarded candidacy status
for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
Aoba-Japan International School （Location：Nerima ward, Tokyo "A-JIS"） would like to announce that their high school will be recognized as an International Baccalaureate candidate school for the Diploma Programme (DP) as of March 1st, 2014. A-JIS will now be a candidate school for both the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) and the Diploma Programme (IBDP).
アオバジャパン・インターナショナルスクールは、国際バカロレア（IB）「初等教育プログラム」（PYP）、「ディプロマプログラム」（DP）の候補校（※）です。
本校はIBワールドスクール（IB認定校）としての認定に向けた申請段階にあります。このIBワールドスクールとは、「質の高い、チャレンジに満ちた国際教育に信念をもって取り組むことにコミットする」という理念を共有する学校です。アオバジャパン・インターナショナルスクールも、このような教育に取り組むことが、生徒にとって重要なことであると信じています。
※IBの「初等教育プログラム」（PYP）、「中等教育プログラム」（MYP）、「ディプロマプログラム」（DP）の3つのプログラム（および「IBキャリア関連サーティフィケイト」）を実施することができるのは、国際バカロレア機構に認定された学校のみです。候補校であることは、IBワールドスクールとして認定されることを保障するものではありません。

アオバジャパン・インターナショナルスクール（所在地：東京都練馬区、以下A-JIS）は、2014年3月1日をもって、国際バカロレア機構（IBO）より国際バカロレア ディプロマプログラム（DP）の候補校に認定されることが決定いたしましたのでお知らせいたします。なお、今回の認定をもって、A-JISは国際バカロレアの初等教育プログラム（PYP）とディプロマプログラム（DP）双方の候補校となります。
