This is a summary of BBT Privacy Policy document dated 01 April 2005. It is not a complete translation.
Business Breakthrough, Inc. (hereafter, 'the company'), as a media company, takes great care over personal data, and how that data is treated and protected. The company publishes the following policy on protection of private data, and asks all stakeholders to cooperate to build a complete framework of trust for clients.
Policy on Protection of Personal Data
- Personal data protection policies will comply with current legislation.
- Policies will be established setting out the people responsible and the necessary levels of protection of personal data, and these policies will be informed to all staff.
- Reason for use of personal data will be defined, appropriate levels of use established, and we will endeavor to use the most up-to-date information. In addition, information beyond any use agreed with our clients will not be shared with any 3rd party.
- The company will prepare reasonable safety precautions to stop dishonest access, loss, damage, misuse, etc, of data. In addition, the company will adopt appropriate measures with its subcontractors to ensure the safety of data is preserved.
- Personal data obtained from clients through invoices or official complaints will be handled speedily and with integrity through outlined procedures.
- Client personal data will only be kept for as long as is required, and will be deleted or destroyed when no longer necessary.
- In the event of an unforeseen accident, the company will speedily inform the relevant people, and inform the circumstances and methods to ensure this will not happen again.
- The company's current framework for personal data protection may change as a result of continual improvements to our implementation of safety methods and technology.
